Maggie has dealt with Alzheimer’s disease in her family for generations. First, her mother-in-law Mama Lupe, had the disease. As Maggie and her husband Manny took on the role of caregivers for Mama Lupe, Manny started to see signs of the disease in himself.

By having an understanding of her husband’s family history and diagnosis of the disease, Maggie and Manny are able to confront Alzheimer’s together.
