Jim McKinlay is Mary McKinlay’s husband. In this video clip, he discusses his experience as a caregiver for his wife as she started exhibiting signs of dementia and got an early diagnosis. That early diagnosis allowed Mary to get on medication while it could still be effective, allowing her to regain significant portions of her former life.
He highly recommends that anyone who thinks they have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease to focus on getting a diagnosis as soon as possible.
