Country musician Glen Campbell announced in 2011 that he has Alzheimer’s disease. His daughter, Ashley Campbell, teared up during Congressional testimony when she explained that it was getting more difficult for her dad to follow along when they played music together. “Let’s work together to end Alzheimer’s,” she said to lawmakers.
