Former Physician Takes Action in the Face of Alzheimer’s
When Dr. Dewayne Nash started to notice that his memory wasn’t quite what it used to be, he decided to visit UT Southwestern’s Memory Clinic to get his cognitive function tested. The results surprised him: mild cognitive impairment.
Combined with his knowledge of a family history of Alzheimer’s, this new diagnosis prompted Dewayne to take immediate action. He retired and dedicated much of his free time as a clinical trial volunteer.
