Alzheimer’s Care: Love Is The Key

Alice, a 75 year old woman, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1999, and has had a slow decline ever since. Her 85 year old husband, Julius, has stayed by her side and helped her attempt to manage her disease. He is her primary caretaker, and he is the one who handles her meals, doctors appointments, and other day to day necessities. It’s not always an easy job, but it is one that he is proud and happy to do because he deeply loves his wife.

Watch as Alice and her loving husband share how they deal with her Alzheimer’s the only way they  know how, together.
