Talk About A Family Heirloom…This Diamond Ring Is More Than 230 Years Old!
While this diamond ring has been in the current owner’s intermediate family for three generations, it actually has quite the history. Dating back to the late 18th century (about 1780), this ring was created in the Netherlands, and has an interesting design. There’s foil underneath the diamond, so that the ring would flicker when exposed to candlelight. According to the owner, the ring was made for a family member entitled to be a Countess, which makes sense, given how spectacular it is.
